Absence management
Notify on time and follow through to reimbursement
A prolonged absence gives rise to entitlements, which are subject to deadlines. A late notification can result in a financial loss for the company, and sometimes for the employee. This follow-up therefore requires particular attention.

What we do
We notify
We report absences to the insurer concerned: daily sickness benefits insurance, accident insurance, disability insurance when an incapacity continues, or maternity allowances. Each situation follows its own procedure and deadlines.
We track the allowances
We check the daily allowances paid and those still outstanding, and follow up whenever processing is delayed.
We build the allowances into payroll
An allowance can change the month's payslip, sometimes retroactively. We coordinate absence follow-up and payroll so that adjustments are applied correctly.
We anticipate the next deadlines
When an incapacity continues, certain procedures or rules may change over time. We track these deadlines so that the necessary steps can be prepared at the right time.
What stays confidential
A medical certificate states a duration, not a diagnosis, and only the duration is relevant to our work. We do not need to know the reason for someone's absence, and we do not ask for it.
Medical documents we receive are kept separate from the rest of the personnel file, and only the people handling the file have access to them.
When the situation calls for it
